The Centre of Modern Art may be designed by means of a synthesis of architecture and art in the framework of up to date evolution. The Centre itself becomes the main urban exhibit, and accordingly, a new center of urban attraction which is open for a spectator and tends to be a leader of a contemporaneity. In the course of development we have imbedded the concept into a formulation where the centre of the modern from our point of view is an aggregate of three components: space, shape and perception. These are the main principles of the Centre.
Architecture symbolizes a dynamic movement of a static shape. The shape of the museum refers to an image of a flight, a movement (vector) that is a symbol of cultural activity movement. Vector of art meets vector of urban life here. Visual transition from the past to the present is organized by means of old historic entrances, which are emphasized as separate architectural objects strengthening a sense of shape transformations dynamics which is gaining of new senses of society development and comprehension of environment development perspectives.
