The object is located in Bobrovsky village (a suburb of Yekaterinburg) and is a modern interpretation of the international style. The house is designed as a two-story laconic building with accents on the ladder, taken out to a separate cylindrical volume and the gallery with a colonnade painted in scarlet. The two-storey design was dictated by the context, which basically consists of two- and three-storey buildings.
The house is meant for one family with the possibility to accommodate guests and staff (guard, gardener); the first floor contains an entrance hall, all-family premises, a sleeping area, a guest area and technical rooms (laundry, bathroom, pantry, etc.). There is a separate studio for the staff with an entrance from the northern facade. The second floor has a study and a terrace for rest and friendly meetings. On the terrace of the second floor, there is a summer kitchen, dining and rest areas. The solution for the second floor terrace was dictated by the desire of the client to be isolated from the external observers. The basement houses a home cinema with a toilet room and a vent chamber.
The bypass gallery outside the living room includes is a barbecue area, with a folding glazing system («accordion») for the cold season.
The territory development as a whole is minimalistic and involves the inclusion of a central compositional element – a private leisure zone surrounded by a hedgerow of red dogwood and red maple.
